Every year when fall rolls around, the temperature in the desert starts to drop and it becomes a little bit more inviting for travelers. Autumn's pastel blue sky is the perfect back drop for the red and yellow sandstone walls, and makes the southwestern desert a perfect wilderness to explore and find super memorable KAVU adventures.
The cooler temperatures also tend to bring calmer winds and excellent jumping conditions. Base jumpers from all over the country, and the world, tend to converge on southern Utah to explore the canyons, rivers and cliffs. It's easy to see why and even easier to want to join the party!
Late nights around campfires, early mornings on top of perfect, sheer cliffs shaped by ions of weather and wind, and all the fun in between!
There’s something special about this desert....... the way the sun lights the rock on fire at sunrise and sunset.
Every Autumn for what feels like a long time, I’ve been migrating to these desert gems and this year was no exception.
As another beautiful Fall in the desert comes to a close..... with unique experiences and new KAVU memories..... the snow starts falling in the high country and the ski gear comes out!
Let’s the #KAVUadventures continue! Hope to see you out there!!
