Fun Has No Season

We are lucky to call the Arizona desert home. It might be 110 degrees F in the summer months but, the desert landscape never gets old. And..... for those of us that like to hike..... and even more, like to fly...... the mountains surrounding Phoenix offers up prime terrain for winter airtime.

Yvette and I live here for several reasons. We’re both obsessed with flying and being outside and fortunately....

Arizona allows us those opportunities year round.

We met while hang gliding, and have since been learning the finer points of paragliding together. The contrasting conditions of the desert, along with the ability to fly during every season....and over such varied terrain has benefited us both in a huge way.

It's been cool to watch Yvette in particular as she's made impressive gains these last couple seasons. ........ becoming a Nova Junior Team Pilot on top of continuing to grow and progress in several facets of aviation.

It’s been amazing to have a capable partner for flying adventures, whether for cross country flights in hang gliders, hiking into the wilderness to fly our paragliders, or cruising around in airplanes together......

.........watching each other progress has been a source of satisfaction and at times, pure entertainment.

Look at that SKY!!

We’re enjoying the snow and stark differences that winter offers in the desert and for sure..... we're also looking forward to those cloud-filled skies of spring that are just around the corner!
