.....especially with work and how busy post-college life gets, to get some good quality time with your best friends.

When we figured out we could all get the same weekend off, we thought - why not go fishing up at Deception Pass State Park?

So that’s exactly what we did.

We could not have asked for better weather on our trip....

We spent sunrise and sunset each day on Cranberry Lake, a small lake located inside the state park, taking in the good rays and casting out our fishing lines in hope of a few nibbles.

None of us had any “real” fishing experience, except a few trips to the lake when we were young - which is probably why you won’t see any footage of us actually catching fish ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

But it was a great weekend spent, nonetheless.

We spent most of our days exploring the beaches of the park, and we even took a walk across the infamous Deception Pass Bridge. Our evenings were full of s’mores and story telling by the fire – two of my all-time favorite activities."
