Its a long way north to the Grand Canyon of the Stikine but the drive, company, camping and most importantly whitewater make it worth it. The Stikine river provides three days of locked in class 5 kayaking in the beautiful BC wilderness with wildlife around every corner.
Some people think kayaking is all we do……but how wrong they are, we hike too!
Although at the time we complain about the hiking, the rewards are always worth it. A little bit of free-fall always gets the adrenaline pumping and the team smiling.
Sometimes you need to sit back and enjoy your surroundings and the people you surround yourself with.
This KAVU Adventure Story is brought to you by KAVU Kayaking Lifestylers Jordy Searle, David Bain and Ari Walker. For more info, photos and videos on these wild whitewater KAVU dudes visit them at Gradient and Water on the Facecrack.
