Tubs and I are students at Washington State University. We wanted to make the most of our winter break so we fired up the big red hog! We headed west for a rip down the Washington and Oregon coast.
I am taking courses in photography following passion of capturing people doing what they love and the beautiful world we live in! I was introduced to KAVU when I was in 6th grade at a lacrosse tournament. This is when I got my first pair of KAVU Big Eddy crazy printed shorts and wild KAVU hat. I've been having KAVU days ever since! Short trip let is rip because FUN has no season!
We decided to start our winter road trip in the Olympic mountain range. As we made it to our first location near the Olympic hot springs. Mountain fog was settling into hills around us and we were quick to get out of the car and explore! We found epic water falls, moss covered trees and a river side with an endless variety of stacking rocks. We made a camp fire in an open clearing by the water where we spent time stacking rocks and roasting dogs on the fire.
Our trip to Pacific City was on to remember. We experienced heavy rain fall and big winds the night before in seaside Oregon and woke up to a crisp blue perfect KAVU morning! We had a beauty of a drive down the 101 and polished off our KAVU day watching the sunset from the top of a humungous sand dune. This trip down the coast left us with perma-grins and a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest!
