I have often thought about what the perfect day would look like. Where would I go? Who would I go with? What would we see?
...a land before time, we take on the eyes of a bird, free to fly wherever the sky is willing to take us. We look down on the mountains that most will only ever gaze up at. The dreams of a perfect day are quite often becoming a reality.
The places we end up are often out of our control. As the sun begins to set we look for a place where we can spend the night and make camp, or a smoking chimney where a local might be making tea.
This is the beginning of a new type of adventure. What looked like tiny black specs scattered along the riverside comes to life as we sink into a new world of reality.
As we surfed the skies with Himalayan Griffon Vultures, the world continued to spin just as it always has.
This is a large part of what makes flying so special for me. We can have these unexplainable experiences high in the sky while life continues in what could be an entirely different world below. We get the opportunity to jump between theses two worlds via the freedom of our gliders.
It truly is the perfect indescribable KAVU Day.
