Yes, I got married at a ripe age of 10 yrs old;-) We were on our way to Park City for a little stay-cation, to enjoy each others company and remind each other why we love each other.
...it was early in the day and I asked Nicole what she wanted to do. She looked at me and asked is there was any chance that we can go Skydiving on the way up. Backstory - Nicole has never had the desire or drive to jump out of a perfectly good airplane and I’ve never wanted to coax or talk her into anything that wasn’t her idea.
We’ve flown tandem in my Paraglider together a couple of times and it was fun but I think she did this more to humor me as this has been a large part of my life for many years. She threw up on 3 out of the 4 tandems we went on ; ) Today's mission was fully her idea though and, it was music to my ears. I quickly pulled the car over and confirmed I heard her correctly....... indeed she wanted to go Skydiving!
My tandem rig was conveniently at the drop zone and not far out of the way. During the drive we really didn’t talk about the jump that much. When we showed up, I put us on a 20 minute call and geared us both up. We covered the basics about what to do during the tandem and then we confirmed the most important information; smile and have fun!
The terror on the plane ride up was real (see pic) but.... the smiles when we landed were even more real.
