A twisting coast line with exposures in every direction, laced with rivers and tributaries, there's never far to travel to find fun & adventure
Our shore lines go from sandy beach breaks to rocky points at each point and every bend
The past few years I have been reaching into different degrees of weather to get a unique solo experience while supping the coast line
People enjoy the area off season for cross country skiing. It's fun to see the faces of the skiers while hiking my sup board out to the ocean. Part disbelief, part wonder, and a small part envy;-)
fun is contagious
On any given day you may see small J boats sailing by, local lobster fisherman or huge tankers coming into port. It's around a half mile hike in to the water's edge from the gates of the old Bunkers of Fort Foster making for a good warm up before heading out onto the water
You feel like your on the moon sometimes, even within sight of Kittery Point and the surrounding area of New Castle NH
What are these photos about?
It's fun to imagine the history of the area… to think about the fisherman of old who used these waters as a way of living and not recreation. Tough old cutter's we can't shake a stick at!
is far from the end of the adventure. Tomorrow is another chance. Summer, Winter….it doesn’t matter. A KAVU life is about using every minute as an opportunity to chase the sun to the horizon.
