It’s wild to leave land and cross open ocean toward a new destination. We have to rely on what ever this world is willing to give to keep momentum.

Each destination reached, every island visited…adds to our perspective of how vast and unexplored this planet is to us
Every time we recognize land as a shape separating from the clouds, we’re psyched…..Every time
We see land and navigate toward it, all while living patient and content, within our world until it’s reached. Being present…here and now is mandatory
Nightly sunsets and the sounds of the island make it easy to sleep, for sure
“I’d be psyched if that tree was just a little bigger around”
One of our goals on this trip was to use the Wizard’s Eye as a vehicle to explore the deep corners of this planet. Being able to paddle sections of rivers that may have never been seen, more less kayaked, is a privilege we’re always stoked to work for
Leg Two, Episode nine brings the Wizard‘s Eye through the Island of New Britain, Papua New Guinea. Kayaking the Iso river and flying over the volcano Tavurvur in Rabaul before eruption.
